Brazilian Jiu-jitsu classes are now provided at the McLeod Academy. These are taught by KevinCapel, a Senior student at the academy, a former MMA Fighter and a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu under the amazing RogerGracie. He is also a Black Belt in Judo and is a British Judo Ne-Waza Champion. Every few weeks, the class will be a No-Gi class wear the BJJ kimono is not worn. This is so that the students can adapt their techniques for Submission Wrestling and MMA. No-Gi classes will be taught by Chief Instructor Neil McLeod.
Brazilian Jiu-jitsu/Submission Wrestling class is held on Tuesdays 8.00pm - 9.00pm.
McLeod Academy Instructors Make TV Commercial
Neil, Rachael and Kevin have made a TV commercial for a Scandanavian Movie channel, TV-1000. It was Directed and Produced by the excellent Stanislaw Mytkowski who also Directed and Produced our intro on our Homepage which is to be screened on Current TV across the USA and Europe. Stanislaw is also a talented musician and author.
